1838. Queen Victoria is crowned, and England is at peace. Industry is hitting its stride, and as the railways become England's most egalitarian means of transport, the great coaching proprietors sell out or go under. It isn't a good time to be an ambitious young coachman, not even when you're as good looking as George Davenport.
